Grapes: Sangiovese (Morellino clone) 95%, Alicante 5%

Description: Luminous ruby red, with purple highlights, on the nose it offers complex scents of fruits, flowers and spices among which emerge violet, fruits of the forest, underwood tones, in a rich and complex bouquet. Full bodied, dry, it shows on the palate a good balance between softness and present but fine tannins. Long finish.
Food pairing: With rich pasta dishes and red meat main dishes.
Vinification and maturation: Fermentation at low temperature (max 27°C) to bring out the fruity notes, long contact with the skins (2 weeks circa) to encourage a good colour extraction. Vinification in steel tanks and refining in bottle for 6 months.
