Vinification
light destemming, 8-10 day maceration in temperature controlled steel vats. Restrained acidity, daily punching down and delestage (rack and return). Malolactic fermentation in barriques. Ripening
12 months in French barriques and tonneaux. Light decantation every 4 months in the same barriques.
Bottle ageing
At least 18 months before sale.
Color: intense ruby-red with bright orange highlights.
Nose: pronounced, complex, spicy with touches of blackcurrant, vanilla and berries.
Palate: gracefully contoured, rich and fruity. Well developed tannins. Warm, harmonious and well balanced. Excellent structure.
